Why Was a 20-Yard RoRo Skip Used?
Excavated soil and sand can be extremely heavy, particularly when wet.
Although a 40-yard RoRo skip provides greater volume, our 40-yard containers are intended for suitable lightweight, bulky waste and cannot be used for soil or other heavy excavation materials.
Our 20-yard skips can accommodate agreed heavier waste streams, subject to strict loading limits.
For soil and sand, the amount that can safely be loaded may be substantially less than the container's full volume. The permitted load must be confirmed before hire.
