What size RoRo skips do you offer?

We offer 20-yard and 40-yard RoRo skips for commercial, construction and general waste.

Our 20-yard skips can accommodate suitable heavier materials, while our 40-yard skips are designed for larger volumes of lighter, bulkier waste.

We'll help you choose the right size for your project.

How do I know which skip size I need?

The right size depends on the type and amount of waste you're disposing of.

Tell us about your project when you call, and we'll recommend a suitable container based on your requirements.

How much does skip hire cost?

How long can I keep a skip?

Our standard hire period is 14 days.

If you need longer, extensions of up to 28 days may be arranged in advance, subject to availability.

Can I arrange an early collection?

Yes. Simply contact us when you've finished with your skip, and we'll arrange collection, subject to availability.

Can I arrange regular skip exchanges?

Yes. We can arrange skip exchanges and discuss regular collections for ongoing construction, commercial and clearance projects, subject to availability.

What waste can I put in a RoRo skip?

Our RoRo skips are suitable for a range of agreed general, commercial and construction waste.

The materials accepted depend on the skip size and the nature of the waste. Please tell us what you're disposing of when you call so we can confirm the correct container.

Can I put soil, rubble or concrete in a RoRo skip?

Suitable heavy waste, including soil, rubble and concrete, may be accepted in our 20-yard RoRo skips, subject to agreed loading limits.

Our 40-yard RoRo skips are designed for lighter, bulkier waste and must not be used for heavy materials such as soil, rubble or concrete.

What waste cannot go in a general waste skip?

Asbestos and other hazardous waste must not be placed in our general waste skips.

Certain materials, including chemicals, liquids, gas cylinders, tyres and some electrical equipment, also require separate arrangements.

If you're unsure about a particular material, please check with us before loading.

How much space do I need for delivery?

Our RoRo skips are delivered using large vehicles, so sufficient space is needed for safe access, manoeuvring and unloading.

Please let us know about narrow entrances, overhead cables, low branches or restricted access before delivery.

Can you deliver to farms and construction sites?

Yes. We provide skips for farms, construction sites, commercial premises and other suitable locations.

Delivery is subject to safe vehicle access and an appropriate area for the skip.

Can I move the skip once it's been delivered?

No. Please do not move or reposition the skip without our permission.

If you need it relocated, contact us to discuss the options.

What happens if I overfill my skip?

We may be unable to collect an overloaded skip until the excess waste has been removed.

Please ensure the waste remains within the permitted loading level and weight limit so the skip can be transported safely.

Will I receive waste documentation?

Yes. We provide the appropriate waste transfer documentation for general waste collections.

What types of waste can I hire a RoRo skip for?

We provide 20 and 40-yard RoRo skips for a wide range of commercial, construction and clearance waste, including:

Mixed waste

Inert waste

We can supply dedicated skips for individual waste types or mixed waste skips where segregation isn't practical.

The appropriate skip size will depend on the material and its weight. Heavy materials such as soil, hardcore and rubble may be accepted in our 20-yard skips, subject to agreed loading limits, but must not be placed in our 40-yard skips.

Is it cheaper to separate waste rather than use a mixed waste skip?

Yes, segregating waste can often reduce disposal costs.

Dedicated skips for materials such as wood, metal, green waste, hardcore and soil can be more cost-effective than placing everything into a mixed waste skip.

This is because separated waste streams can be easier to process and may attract lower disposal charges.

If your project produces several types of waste, speak to us about using separate skips. We'll help you identify a practical and cost-effective arrangement.

Can I hire more than one skip for different waste types?

Yes. We can supply multiple RoRo skips for different waste streams, such as a dedicated wood skip, a metal skip and a separate container for mixed waste.

This can help keep your site organised, improve waste segregation and potentially reduce your overall disposal costs.

We can also discuss regular collections and skip exchanges for ongoing projects.
